Terms of Service

OfferLens helps you compare job offers by estimating total compensation, tax impact, cost-of-living adjustments, and other factors based on information you provide. OfferLens is a planning and informational tool only.

OfferLens provides estimates based on simplified models and publicly available data. Tax calculations use standard federal and state brackets and do not account for your full financial situation. Cost-of-living and equity figures are estimates based on general assumptions, not guarantees of actual outcomes.

Nothing on OfferLens constitutes financial, tax, legal, or professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on information from this Service. OfferLens is not responsible for decisions made using our estimates.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe to OfferLens Pro. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@offerlens.xyz if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, security measures, or bot protections
• Submit false information with intent to defraud or mislead another person viewing a shared comparison
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or excessively automate access to the Service
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Service or other users' access to it

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

OfferLens Pro is offered on a recurring monthly or annual subscription basis, billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will continue to have Pro access until that date. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. If we do, we will provide notice before the change applies to your next billing cycle.

Comparisons created without an account, or while on the free plan, are accessible via a shareable link for 7 days, after which the link and its associated data are deleted. Pro subscribers' links remain active for as long as their subscription is active; upon subscription expiration the user's comparisons are reverted to free and expire 7 days from that point.

Anyone with a shareable link can view the comparison it points to. You are responsible for the information you choose to include and who you share the link with.

The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying code, is owned by Lane Robey and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the offer details and other content you submit, and grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates provided will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lane Robey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of income, profits, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@offerlens.xyz. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
